As part of Dastaangoi’s workshop series, Together We, Nimra and Manahil guided participants through creating their own daal/masala mandalas. We invited them to create from a place of intuition with materials that they had around their home. We see all materials and objects as having creative potential, and we shared how to arrange, layer, compose and transform everyday materials into art. We also shared a Sindhi folktale while creating and invited others to share any folktales that they knew.
